Ariel has her father...
Belle has Maurice...
Aurora is taken from her parents to live with her fairy godmothers...
Tatiana loses her father...
We all know that fifty percent of marriages end in divorce, but is there no hope? With the exception of Mulan and myself, Disney princesses are not brought up by a mother and a father. There are not very many successful long lasting marriages to set a good example for our youth. We all know that people lose parents, whether to death or divorce, and gain family from remarriages but can we switch it up every once in awhile? When you say for better or for worse, mean it. There is nothing stronger than a bond with your child, and that will last longer than any love, or any marriage, but that doesn't mean it has to.
Kurt and Maria are examples of true love for eachother and their daughters!
